THE HOFFMANS

John Houston claims they not only build homes they build lifelong relationships. They certainly do just what they say!

I want to share our experience with John Houston Custom Homes building our home. I believe there are two major areas that are important in building a new home. First is signing the contract, preparing and building the house and the second is warranty support after you move in. This is not our first house and we really know what a bad builder is. Because of a bad experience the first time, we were better prepared for our second home.

On the first area we had the good fortune to work with Rob and Lauren. They were outstanding to work with. They were knowledgeable and supportive. We started with our design on a napkin and in less than 2 weeks we had a final design. Once construction started we worked with Jeff and he builds an outstanding home! The hardest part was deciding what we wanted for lights.

The house was done and we were moved in within a couple of days of the original scheduled move in date. On the second area, and what I believe is the most important measure, how does John Houston Custom Homes support you after you move in? Well, I would like to say we didn't have any problems. However, we had more than our fair share of issues. Maybe more issues than most would ever have so we are experts in this area. Again, John Houston Custom Homes was OUTSTANDING in dealing with all the issues we had.

They were there for us through every issue and were concerned we were taken care of and all the problems were solved. Sometimes things happen. The most important thing is your builder standing behind their product. I am happy to say they have demonstrated they absolutely do.

Bottom line is, would you have them build for you again? Our answer is YES! It is easy when things go well. To find out what a builder really is about you need to work through some problems. John Houston claims they not only build homes they build lifelong relationships. They certainly do just what they say!
