FLOOR PLAN: The Montgomery

The Montgomery Floor Plan at John Houston Custom Homes

Designed with young families in mind, the Montgomery plan is a spacious 2 story plan with 2,917 square feet of living space. This plan provides ample space for families to gather, as well as separate space for activities such as a children's downstairs play room and the perfect study to work from home.

Grand 2 Story Entryway

Visitors are instantly wowed by the large extended foyer with 2 story ceilings. Off the foyer is a study with french doors for privacy as well as a 2nd bedroom and bathroom, perfect for a nursery or for aging parents.

Open-Concept Living and Kitchen Area

Walk through the main entryway to be greeted with an open-concept living space. The oversized family room includes a corner fireplace and large windows that light up the living space with natural sunlight. Opened up to the living room is the large California-style kitchen with a large dining nook.

California-Style Kitchen

The Montgomery kitchen includes built-in stainless steel appliances complete with a wall oven and microwave built into a cabinet. Speaking of cabinets - all John Houston Custom Homes come with completely custom cabinets that are finished onsite - which eliminates scratches and scuffs that can happen during transport. The chefs of the family will enjoy the over-sized pantry which can handle any Costco run!

Private Master Suite

At the end of a long day, retreat to your downstairs master suite which features an optional Master Bay window with private access to your back yard oasis. The master bathroom suite features separate his-and-hers sinks with a drop-in tub and separate walk-in shower. Enjoy standard features such as the bathtub cabinet base, modern undermount sinks and solid surface countertops.

A Flexible Floor Plan

This floor plan offers flexibility for many types of growing families. The flex space can be used as a downstairs game room or play area. It can also be used as a formal dining room or living room for entertaining guests.

The study off of the main foyer also features a walk-in closet, so this space can also double as a guest bedroom. This plan also features a 2nd bedroom downstairs with a full bathroom. This 2nd bedroom can be used as a nursery or as a room for those with aging parents or family members living with them.

With all of the options and living situations that the Montgomery plan can accommodate, it's no wonder this is a favorite among our happy homeowners!

For parents seeking a nurturing environment where their children can flourish, here are the top three reasons why moving to Grandview could be the best decision for your family and why the Vista Point community is a great place to live and raise a family! 1. Grandview ISD: An A-Rated School District One of the primary concerns for any parent is ensuring their child receives an excellent education. In Grandview, parents can rest assured knowing that their children will attend schools within the Grandview Independent School District (ISD), which boasts an impressive A rating. This distinction reflects the district's commitment to academic excellence and student success. With a dedicated team of educators and staff, Grandview ISD provides a supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive. Beyond the accolades, what truly sets Grandview ISD apart is its focus on personalized learning and individualized attention.
